Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport is the largest international Airport in Bangladesh, previously well known as Zia International Airport. The airport is located at the outskirts of Dhaka, the Capital City of Bangladesh. The place is well known as kurmitola. This airport experiences a moderately large traffic of around 15000 passengers everyday. Including this, the airport also has to accommodate around 40000 visitors everyday who comes to the airport for receiving or bidding farewell to their near and dear ones.
